The potable water expansion vessel has a capacity of 12 litres when full. It is recommended for heating and chilled water applications as well as for potable water. The 12 litre potable expansion vessel comes with a fixed membrane which is ideal for domestic hot water systems. It has a carbon steel body which has been covered with a white epoxy-polyester paint finish to keep the outlook minimal and aesthetic. The flange of the potable expansion vessel is robust stainless steel.

The extravarem LC white potable expansion vessel can easily operate between temperatures ranging from a chilly -10 °C to an extremely hot temperate of 99 °C. The connection is 3/4" for this vessel. The vessel comes precharged with a pressure of 3.5 bar. This air expansion inside the vessel helps as a cushion against system pressure surges that may occur due to rises in temperature. The maximum pressure this vessel can tolerate is 8 bar. It has a specifically designed chamber that protects water heating systems from going over the excess pressure. It comes with a fixed membrane and crimped stainless steel flange.
