Description
Automatic air vents are used in heating systems for the automatic venting of trapped air, which can cause problems in the form of 'air locks'. When a build-up of air within the float chamber exceeds a certain level, the float drops and opens the valve. The air is then released and the float moved back into position via water entering the chamber. The venting of air reduces the need for callbacks to rectify problems caused by airlocks, thus saving money and time in the process.
