Description
The RM Intercyl internal expansion cylinder is the newest and most premium range within their catalogue. The internal baffle traps air internally within the cylinder to act as the expansion vessel for the system, which improves it’s ErP credentials alongside eliminating the requirement for an external expansion vessel, saving time and space. The Direct RM Intercyl is designed to offer hot water in properties where auxiliary heat sources are not present. The Intercyl Direct utilises electricity to power the inbuilt 3kW immersion heaters.
The RM Intercyl has been engineered and designed to benefit all sectors within the market as it is suitable for not only a one-off installer but even larger contractors. This is due to the fact it saves time and space with the internal air gap, excluding the need for an expansion vessel whilst still maintaining its quality and excellent unit specifications. When the unit is commissioned and filled with water, it is the baffles job to trap a separate air pocket in the dome of the unit which then acts as the working expansion vessel. Then when the cylinder heats and expands, the baffle will rise and then will fall when the unit cools, allowing all pressure to be absorbed.
The Intercyl Direct has been carefully developed and purpose-built to exacting standards. Suitable for properties where auxiliary heat sources are not present. Direct operates using electricity to power the inbuilt 3kW immersion heaters. When other heat sources are not present the Intercyl Direct is the perfect and obvious choice.
