Description
The revolutionary, plumber-designed hotun dry trap tundish allows a compliant connection from any sealed system T/PRV to an internal waste or soil pipe. Allowing both trickle and full flow but preventing foul odours and gases from coming back into a property, hotun eliminates the need for an external discharge.
The hotun shield 100C prevents any access to any potentially scalding water discharging through the tundish. It is normally fitted on a risk assessment basis on boiler applications if the tundish is located in an accessible position.
Due to Water Regulation requirements hotun shield is NOT to be used for unvented water heater applications or applications where the connection to drain is in "fluid communication" with wholesome water.
The hotun shield 100C is only compatible with the hotun 100C range of tundishes. For the sf range shield alternative, see shield HSSF (231-551-0002).
To fit the hotun shield, simply place the product onto the hotun tundish and click into place. The shield is held securely in place with the plastic inlet nut.
