hotun® Detect Audio & Visual Alarm
The award winning and critically acclaimed hotun detect, is an in-tundish, temperature and pressure relief valve and water tank overflow, water alarm unit. It provides an immediate audible and visual alert to the home owner or building user if the temperature and pressure relief valve or overflow starts to drip.
The hotun detect alarm unit has been specifically designed alongside our hotun® dry trap tundish range to help prevent boiler breakdowns, due to low pressure lock outs, and help save water and energy in water heaters and storage tanks.
The hotun detect is designed to give an effective early warning that something is wrong with the system and will give one of 4 different alerts depending on the temperature of the discharging water, thus aiding fault diagnosis.
The hotun detect can be used with the hotun shields (HS100C or HSSF) provided the cut-out in the shield is removed.
