Description
The HydroGuard shock arrestors are designed to absorb pressure surges within the water or other fluids where they are suddenly stopped or forced into other directions by fast closing valves. The HydroGuard series has been specifically designed for hydraulic hammer arresting applications. The HydroGuard Shock Arrestor has a high-grade butyl diaphragm which is sealed within the vessel creating a barrier between fluid and a compressible air chamber. The HydroGuard shock arrestor is best used at the point of shock and should be installed close to the valve or piping where the shock originates from.
