A double check valve allows water to flow in one direction, and prevents the water from flowing back into the system.
DZR (Dezincification Resistant) brass offers resistance to dezincification, a process where the brass corrodes, zinc is lost, and the copper is left behind. Mild dezincification can lead to cosmetic changes, however, severe dezincification can lead the the brass becoming weak and porous.
