Description
The revolutionary, plumber-designed hotun dry trap tundish allows a compliant connection from any sealed system T/PRV to an internal waste or soil pipe. Allowing both trickle and full flow but preventing foul odours and gases from coming back into a property, hotun eliminates the need for an external discharge.
hotun shield sf prevents any access to any potentially scalding water discharging through the tundish. It is normally fitted on a risk assessment basis on boiler applications if the tundish is located in an accessible position
As an accessory, hotun shield is 100% effective at preventing access to potentially scalding hot water still allowing visibility of any discharging water.
hotun shield sf is only compatible with the hotun "sf" range of tundishes (except hotun XLSF unless shield is modified) for 100C range shield alternative see HS100C (231-551-0001).

hotun shield HSSF can be lifted without needing to remove the hotun tundish - makes maintenance quick and easy.
- 120°C temperature rating
- Accepted for use by many of the world's largest boiler manufacturers.
- Suitable for use on most sf hotun dry trap tundishes fitted to boilers, or in other applications that do NOT require an air-break to drain
- Not suitable for use on hotun XLSF (unless shield is modified)
