A single check valve is ideal for use in domestic water systems, they are generally used near outlets such as taps and showers, they must be installed as near as possible to the outlet on the cold water supply.
DZR (Dezincification Resistant) brass offers resistance to dezincification, a process where the brass corrodes, zinc is lost, and the copper is left behind. Mild dezincification can lead to cosmetic changes, however, severe dezincification can lead the the brass becoming weak and porous.
