Fittings and valve\nbody dimensions are identical to those of the RAFR valve body used with the RAS-C \u0026amp; RAS-D\nradiator thermostats, allowing the installer\ngreater freedom in terms of work flow and ease\nof installation. Adjustment of the lockshield for\nregulation and isolation is by means of a 6mm\nAllen key socket in the valve body which is\nnormally covered and protected by a screw-on\nbrass cap. RLV-D can also be used in closed\ncomfort cooling systems, if the piping system is\nfree of oxygen.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe push-fit fitting is suitable for 10mm copper\npipes manufactured in accordance to BS 2871\npart 1 \/ BS EN 1057: 1996 and for 10 mm\npolybuthelene (PB) pipes including Hep2O,\nPolyplumb, OsmaGold, and 10 mm cross linked\nPolyethylene (PEX) pipes made in accordance to\nBS7291 part 1:1990 or part 3:1990.
